The consultation is a free 20-minute virtual meeting where we discuss:
your child's current math challenges
goals for tutoring
recommended tutoring plan
scheduling options
There is no obligation to continue after the consultation.
Many students benefit from one to two sessions per week, depending on their needs and academic goals.
During the consultation, we will discuss the schedule that will best support your child's progress.
Most tutoring sessions are 60 minutes. This provides enough time to review concepts, practice skills, and address student questions while maintaining a strong focus.
Both options are available.
Students may meet virtually through Zoom or in person at local libraries in the Fredericksburg / Spotsylvania area, depending on availability and family preference.
In-person tutoring sessions are typically held at public libraries in Fredericksburg or Spotsylvania. The specific library branch will be confirmed after scheduling.
Yes. Parents are welcome to communicate about student progress, questions, and goals throughout the tutoring process.
Updates can be shared periodically to ensure tutoring sessions are supporting your child effectively.
Tutoring sessions can support:
homework assignments
upcoming tests or quizzes
review of challenging concepts
Sessions are tailored to each student's needs.
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice using the online scheduling system. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered no-shows and will be forfeited.
Providing advance notice helps ensure the time can be made available for another student.
Students should bring:
a notebook or paper
a pencil
any current math assignments or homework
a calculator if one is used in their class
This helps make each tutoring session as productive as possible.
Tutoring plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable once purchased.
