Core Concepts Learning Studio provides one-on-one math tutoring for students in grades 2–8. Sessions focus on strengthening foundational math skills, improving problem-solving abilities, and building student confidence. Tutoring services are designed to support and reinforce learning but do not replace classroom instruction or guarantee specific academic outcomes.

Standard tutoring sessions are 60 minutes Sessions are conducted virtually (Zoom) or in person at a public location (e.g., library) Sessions include instruction, guided practice, and independent work Session format may be adjusted at the tutor’s discretion based on student needs

Sessions are scheduled through the online booking system Parents/guardians are responsible for booking and managing sessions Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared A session is considered a no-show after 15 minutes without communication Missed sessions without notice are forfeited

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice using the online system Late cancellations may result in loss of the session or fee Missed sessions without notice are not eligible for rescheduling or refund Repeated missed sessions may result in discontinuation of services Emergency situations will be handled at the tutor’s discretion

Tutoring sessions or plans are paid in advance Payment is required to confirm and hold a session All payments are non-refundable once purchased Sessions must be used within the active billing period unless otherwise discussed No refunds will be issued for missed sessions or late cancellations

Students are expected to: behave respectfully toward the tutor follow directions during sessions actively participate in learning Core Concepts Learning Studio reserves the right to: pause or end a session due to disruptive or unsafe behavior discontinue services if behavior expectations are not met

Parents/guardians agree to: ensure students attend sessions on time provide a safe, quiet, and distraction-free learning environment communicate concerns in a timely manner support student engagement and effort

To maintain a safe learning environment: Students who are sick or showing symptoms of illness should not attend sessions Parents are responsible for rescheduling when necessary Core Concepts Learning Studio is not responsible for the transmission of illness

In-person sessions take place in public locations (e.g., libraries) Parents are responsible for transportation and supervision before and after sessions The tutor is not responsible for the student outside of the scheduled session time The tutor reserves the right to change session location if necessary

Virtual sessions will be conducted using Zoom or similar platforms. For virtual sessions, clients are responsible for: a reliable internet connection a working camera and microphone a suitable device for participation Technical issues on the client’s end do not guarantee session rescheduling or refund.

For safety reasons, students may not bring: weapons or dangerous objects inappropriate materials or items that disrupt the learning environment Core Concepts Learning Studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session if safety concerns arise.

Core Concepts Learning Studio reserves the right to: refuse service at any time terminate services due to repeated cancellations, non-payment, or policy violations adjust session format (virtual/in-person) when necessary

Sessions may be moved to virtual format due to weather or emergencies If a session cannot be held, rescheduling will be offered

Tutoring is intended to support understanding. The tutor will not complete assignments or engage in academic dishonesty.

Core Concepts Learning Studio will: communicate professionally and within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 24 hours) provide updates as needed regarding student progress Parents are encouraged to communicate questions or concerns at any time.

Core Concepts Learning Studio maintains general and professional liability insurance to support safe and professional tutoring services. However, participation in tutoring sessions, whether in-person or virtual, is at the client’s own risk. Assumption of Risk By enrolling in tutoring services, parents/guardians acknowledge that: In-person sessions may involve minimal physical movement or environmental risks Virtual sessions rely on internet connectivity and third-party platforms

The parent/guardian agrees to release and hold harmless Core Concepts Learning Studio and its owner from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from: Injuries occurring during tutoring sessions Academic performance outcomes Technical issues beyond the tutor’s control (internet, platform outages, etc.)

Core Concepts Learning Studio provides academic support designed to strengthen understanding and confidence in math. While every effort is made to support student growth: Results are not guaranteed Academic success depends on student effort, attendance, and practice outside sessions

Core Concepts Learning Studio reserves the right to: Change session locations if necessary for safety or scheduling Cancel or reschedule sessions due to: Severe weather Emergencies Unforeseen circumstances

By booking a session, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies outlined above.
